General Assistant (Indonesian Citizen)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and flexible General Assistant to join our new company. The General Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by handling various administrative tasks and providing support in day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and have a willingness to adapt to changing needs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Answering Phone and Scheduling Appointments:
  • Professionally and courteously handle incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate individuals or departments.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for the team, ensuring efficient time management.

Errands and Government Department Visits:

  • Execute various errands, such as obtaining documents, making deliveries, or visiting different government departments as needed.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and own reliable transportation to fulfill errands promptly and efficiently. All expenses related to transportation will be reimbursed.

General Office Duties:

  • Assist with general office tasks, including filing, data entry, photocopying, and organizing documents.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely distribution and proper documentation.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for office supplies, ensuring inventory levels are maintained.

Language Proficiency:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to handle correspondence and maintain clear communication within the organization.

Flexibility and Availability:

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday mornings required.
  • Willingness to adapt and take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and contribute to the success of the company.

Qualifications:

  • Indonesian citizenship is required.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and own reliable transportation.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using office software and equipment (e.g., Microsoft Office, printers, scanners).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
